A family building tradition that began in 1987, now delivering large-scale projects across the UK: the same trades, the same standards, led by the next generation.
Scroll to build ↓We'll help shape the idea itself: the design, the budget, the build. Advising on design, budget and buildability before a single brick is laid.
Our directly employed tradesmen carry your project from start to finish, so nothing gets lost between thinking and doing.
Hospital theatres, secure facilities, commercial developments and family homes, all delivered to the highest standard.
Our storyWhat started as a local building firm has grown into a contractor trusted with some of the region's most demanding projects.
Hospital theatres, secure facilities, commercial developments and family homes alike. From commercial refurbishments and new builds to home extensions and repairs, our directly employed tradesmen deliver every project to the highest standard.
But the way we work hasn't changed: do the job properly, treat every client with respect, and build relationships that last for life, not just for the project.
We want more than a satisfied client. We want a delighted one.
The Wilkinson family laid its first bricks, founding the firm on a simple promise: integrity, quality and workmanship that lasts. Over nearly four decades, that promise built a reputation across Yorkshire, from family homes to hospitals and prisons.
Same team · same values · one family business, two generations
After almost 40 years the next generation of the family stepped up. DFW Building Services was born: a new name, carrying forward the same team, the same values and the same commitment to quality that started it all in 1987.
Welcome to DFW Building Services, your trusted partner in construction excellence. We are dedicated to delivering high-quality construction projects for large corporations across the UK.
We are on a mission to redefine the way construction projects are executed. Our team is committed to delivering innovative and sustainable solutions, setting new standards for the industry. We take pride in our dedicated team and the wide range of construction services we provide.
Every great build starts with a conversation. Tell us what you're planning (a refurbishment, a new build, an extension or a repair) and one of our senior team will come back to you to talk it through, honestly and without obligation.
Nearly 40 years of building has taught us that the best projects are shaped early. The sooner we're involved, the more we can help, advising on design, budget and buildability before a single brick is laid.
